Good news for parents adopting from overseas…

Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Monte Solberg has announced changes to the Citizenship Act that will allow children adopted from overseas to become Canadian citizens without first having to go through the permanent residence process. Unfortunately, with the obstacles and challenges imposed on adoptive parents by the provincial government, the CIC procedures are often the least of their worries.
